September 2015: I am now back and seeing clients as a mobile massage therapist (at your home or location).
I have been out of the office for the last few months. I have since closed the Rye, NY office. If you have tried to contact me I apologize for not being able to return your inquiry during that time.

What is Balsam ?
Balsam has many meanings and they all correspond to healing and nature. Balsam relates to a variety of plants: balsam firs, balsam impatiens and balsam poplars to name a few. Balsam is also known to be an aromatic salve or oil. Balsam Fir essential oil is traditionally used to address muscular aches and pains, while the warm aroma soothes and rejuvenates body and mind creating an uplifting sense of well being. The word “balsam” also means anything healing or soothing….need I say more.
Michelle Kelly Dillon, Dreamer, NY & CT Licensed Massage Therapist, Owner Balsam Massage & Manual Therapy
My dream has been to create a practice that combines the relaxation of a spa, the capacity to provide outstanding therapeutic medical massage and manual therapy, with the familiarity of working with an independent practitioner. Balsam Massage & Manual Therapy is the realization of that dream.
